Congressman Cummings was a veracious fighter for women’s rights including access to quality healthcare and gender pay equity. Congressman Cummings came from humble beginnings and never forgot where he came from, his beloved Baltimore. He will forever be remembered as a public servant who gave his city, state, and country the very best of himself each day. He was a proud Baltimorean who became a respected national leader by his colleagues across the political spectrum.
