The Junior League of Baltimore (JLB), a women’s leadership development organization, is currently accepting applications for its fall 2021 class. Prospective members are invited to attend one or more of the events hosted by JLB to learn about the League’s mission, community programs and benefits of joining. With the Covid-19 pandemic in mind, some of these events have been transitioned to a virtual platform. The Junior League of Baltimore welcomes three-month provisional classes twice per year starting in January and August and welcomes all women from diverse backgrounds and communities who demonstrate an interest in, and commitment to, voluntarism.
The remaining dates for upcoming events are as follows:
- Evening Rush Zumba Dance Fitness: Thursday, July 15, 2021, 7:15-8:15PM. This event will simtaneously be held virtually (via Zoom) and in person at JLB Headquarters, located at 5902 York Road, Baltimore.
- New Member Information Session and Happy Hour: Saturday, July 24, 2021, 12:00-2:00PM. This event will be held at Monument Brewing Company, 1 N. Haven Street, Baltimore.
- Learn More about the JLB: Monday, July 26, 2021, 7:00-9:00PM. This is a virtual event (via Zoom).
Women interested in attending an informational session should register on the JLB website: www.jlbalt.org. The application for membership is also available on the website. Applications are due August 7, 2021.
