The Junior League of Baltimore is proud to once again sponsor Johns Hopkins Medicine’s A Woman’s Journey conference.  Due to Covid-19 this event will be held via Zoom on Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Plenary presenter Dr. Sherita Golden is an endocrinologist and vice president and chief diversity officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine.  Participants will hear Dr. Golden’s professional journey and her efforts to address health disparities, micro-aggressions, and systemic and structural racism at Johns Hopkins and in Baltimore.  Dr. Lisa Maragakis, an infectious disease expert and epidemiologist, closes out the program speaking about Covid-19 and the Johns Hopkins response to the current pandemic. Break out sessions cover eight diverse topics in women’s health ranging from diagnosing early cancer to heart health and emerging research about memory.  Registrants will get access to recordings of all eight break out sessions.
