Kathy Armstrong, Past President of the Junior League of Baltimore, has been nominated and selected as a recipient of the 2020 Mayor’s Business Recognition Award for her ongoing PB&J sandwich charity drive.

On behalf of the Mayor of the City of Baltimore, the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) and the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC), this award is given annually to those companies that have demonstrated outstanding community service and, through their contributions, have significantly improved our city.  As of December 2020, she and her team have collected over 2,000 sandwiches to support Manna House, a nonprofit that supports the homeless in Baltimore City.
