JLB Past President Enters Circle of Excellence

The Junior League of Baltimore is proud to announce that Mary Helfrich, Past President of the Board of Directors (2012-2013), has been named to the Maryland’s Top 100 Women Circle of Excellence.  The annual list of Top 100 Women has been selected by The Daily Record for twenty-six years, highlighting the achievements of leaders in business, government, public service and voluntarism.  Ms. Helfrich has specialized in fundraising, communications and non-profit development since starting The Helfrich Group in 1987.  In addition to remaining active with JLB, she serves as fundraising/marketing director for the Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter (BARCS) and was adjunct faculty with the Non-Profit Management Program at Notre Dame of Maryland University for nearly eight years.

With this honor, Ms. Helfrich joins an elite group of women who have won Maryland’s Top 100 Women a third and final time. Winners will be celebrated at a virtual event on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
